Privacy Policy (iOS)
Your privacy is a great concern to us.
Read below to see what information is collected when you use our iOS app, why it is collected, and how it is used to improve your overall experience when using the App.
Collection of Personal Information
We DO NOT COLLECT ANY INFORMATION THAT YOU TYPE using this app. When you allow full access for our app, you may be warned that the keyboard can be used to "transmit anything you type, including things you have previously typed with this keyboard." This is the standard warning message for all third-party input methods, however our app does not collect any personal information or transmit such information to a server or third party.
Disclosure of Personal Information
As we do not collect any personal information, your personal information is safe will not be disclosed to any third party unless you have consented explicitly to such a disclosure, or where there is a legal requirement for this to happen.
TrueDepth API
Our apps make use of automatically collected information using the device camera and the TrueDepth API provided by Apple. The only use of this information is to track the user's head and face so that the user can control the AR experience and the selfie filters by moving their device and their head. None of the information collected by the TrueDepth API ever leaves the user's device nor is it persistently stored on the device.
The following sections describe additional data practices for apps that include account-based features such as games, multiplayer, in-app purchases, or voice chat. These sections apply only to apps that offer the specific feature described; apps that do not include a given feature do not collect the data described in that section.
Account & Profile Information
When an App requires an account, we generate an anonymous identifier from your device (such as identifierForVendor on iOS) so you can use the App without entering personal information. You may choose to provide a display name, a country selected from a list, and a preset avatar or background. We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
Game & Activity Data
For Apps that include gameplay or progression features, we store activity data on our servers to power features such as leaderboards, match history, in-game currency, and progression. This may include the games you have played, wins and losses, items purchased in-app, and timestamps such as account creation and last seen. This data is linked to your anonymous account identifier.
Voice Communication
Some Apps include a real-time voice chat feature available to eligible users (for example, premium subscribers). Voice audio is streamed in real time through a third-party voice infrastructure provider for the duration of your session and is not recorded or stored on our servers. We request access to your microphone only when this feature is in use and only if you have explicitly joined a voice room.
Community Chat
Some Apps include a text-based chat feature. Messages you send are transmitted to our servers and may be stored so that other participants can see chat history. Please do not share personal or sensitive information in chat. You can block other users and report abusive messages from within the App; reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Some Apps offer one-time in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. To verify your purchase and grant the corresponding entitlement (such as ad removal, premium features, or in-game currency), the App sends the App Store transaction receipt to our servers, where we validate it with Apple and store the resulting entitlement (such as subscription expiration date and product identifier).
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your iTunes Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in the App Store settings on your device. The subscription title, length, and price, along with functional links to the Terms of Use (Apple's Standard EULA) and this Privacy Policy, are displayed in the App before you subscribe.
Advertising & App Tracking Transparency
Some Apps display advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support free use. AdMob may collect device identifiers and use them to serve and measure advertisements. On iOS 14.5 and later, the App will ask for your permission to track your activity across apps and websites through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework; if you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized. You can remove ads in Apps that offer this option by purchasing the ad-removal product or by subscribing to premium.
Analytics
We collect basic analytics events such as app launches, screens viewed, buttons tapped, and successful purchases. These events are sent to our own servers and used to understand how the App is used and to improve features. Events are linked to your anonymous account identifier (when signed in) and do not include sensitive personal information.
Push Notifications
If you allow notifications, the App may send you alerts such as reminders, friend activity, or announcements. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions, only as needed for specific features:
- Microphone — for voice chat
- Camera — for augmented reality (AR) features
- Notifications — for reminders and announcements
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services to operate our Apps. Each service receives only the data needed for its function:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — payment processing and receipt verification
- Google AdMob — advertising
- Google User Messaging Platform — consent and ATT prompts
- LiveKit — real-time voice infrastructure
- Firebase — platform services where applicable
Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under the age required by applicable local law (generally 13, or 16 in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us at the email below. Once verified, your profile, in-game currency balance, match history, and chat messages tied to your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records by law (such as purchase receipts for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR (European Union/EEA) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and the right to object to certain processing. Security
We protect your data using industry-standard security measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authentication tokens, and access controls on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
